The Crimson Night Before Goodbye is the first chapter of a 10-part anthology exploring the fictional interior lives of forgotten Americans across the 20th century. Shot on a single roll of 35mm film, the sequence follows an interracial couple navigating love, race, and impending separation in 1940s America. Each frame was composed as part of a continuous cinematic structure told not in the chemical permanence of film. The work is presented as a limited-edition narrative contact sheet with visible film borders and frame numbers, printed on premium cool tone rag photo paper.
